How to contact the Public Utilities Commission (PUC)

How to contact the Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC):

Consumer Complaint Telephone Hours are:

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

pucconsumer.complaints@dora.state.co.us

Local Complaint Line: 303-894-2070

Outside Metro Area Complaint Line (but within Colorado only.)

*Some telecommunications services are not regulated by the PUC, even if they are provided by Qwest Communications. For example, the PUC does not have jurisdiction over cellular or wireless phone services, or high-speed data services such as digital subscriber line (DSL). These are considered competitive services under Colorado law. If you are not satisfied with one provider, you may choose another. The PUC also does not regulate cable television companies, or Internet service providers (ISPs).
