Configuring an Android device for E Street email

***Please Note: Due to the wide variety of email applications available for Android devices we cannot provide detailed setup instructions for all of them. However below you can find the mail server settings necessary to configure the email application on your mobile device. We have also provided instructions for configuring “K9 Mail”, which is the most popular free mail application available in the Google Market. For further assistance please contact your device’s provider.

If you haven’t already, you can look up the settings for your e-mail here:

– E-mail address:
– Incoming (POP3/IMAP) mail server:
– Outgoing (SMTP) mail server:
– Account Name (Username):
– Password:

Instructions for configuring K9 Mail:

1. When opening K9 Mail for the first time you’ll be greeted with a welcome screen. Tap “Next”

2. Enter your email address and password and then tap “Manual Setup”.

3. Select the account type (either “IMAP” or “POP3”).

4. Confirm that the following incoming settings are correct and then tap “Next”:

-Username:
-Password:
-POP/IMAP server:
-Security type: None
-Authentication type: PLAIN

5. Confirm that the following outgoing settings are correct and then tap “Next”:

-SMTP server:
-Security type: None
-Port: 587*
-Require sign-in: checked
-Authentication type: Automatic
-Username:
-Password:

6. Set your notification preferences then tap “Next”.

7. Enter your name and then tap “Done” to complete the setup.
