The following article explains how to verify that you are using the correct email settings for your POP or IMAP email account.
First, find your email settings here: https://estreet.com/email-lookup/
Once you have your settings you can select your email application from the list below.
Microsoft Outlook
-Click on the “File” tab in Outlook
-Click on the “Account Settings” icon and select “Manage Profiles“
-Click on “Email Accounts“
-Double click on your email account to view your settings
-Make sure you have the correct Username, Incoming server, and Outgoing server listed. You can find the correct settings here:
-Now click on “More Settings“
-On the “Outgoing Server” tab make sure the box labeled “My outgoing server requires authentication is checked.
-Now click on the “Advanced” tab and check the port/SSL settings. SSL should be enabled for both incoming and outgoing mail.
-If you’re using an IMAP configuration then the incoming port should be 993.
-If you’re using a POP configuration then the incoming port should be 995.
-The Outgoing SMTP port should be set to 465.
-Click OK, then Next, then Finish to save your changes.
-Click on the “Account Settings” icon and select “Manage Profiles“
-Click on “Email Accounts“
-Double click on your email account to view your settings

iOS devices (iPad/iPhone)
-Click/tap on the “Settings” icon to get started.
-Tap on “Mail” (or on older versions of iOS you’ll tap on “Accounts and Passwords” instead)
-Tap on “Mail” (or on older versions of iOS you’ll tap on “Accounts and Passwords” instead)
-Tap on “Accounts“
-Tap on your email account in the accounts list and then tap on “Account Settings”

–Host Name: your incoming server name
–Username: your full email address
–Password: your email password
-Now click on the “Advanced” tab and check the following settings:
–Use SSL: On
–Authentication: Password or MD5 Challenge Response
–Server port: 993*
*993 is the incoming port for an IMAP account, which is the protocol that iOS uses by default. However if you are using a POP configuration then your incoming port would be 995 instead.
-Scroll down and tap on the name of your outgoing mail server.
Your outgoing mail server should be listed as the “Primary Server”. Tap on the server name again to view the settings.
-Now verify/change the following settings:
–Host Name: your outgoing server name
–Username: your full email address
–Password: your email password
–Use SSL: On
–Authentication: Password or MD5 Challenge Response
–Server port: 465
-Click “Done” to save your changes.
-Tap on your email account in the accounts list and then tap on “Account Settings”

-If your email account is not working properly in Outlook for Android then you will need to delete the account and re-add it.
-In the Outlook app, tap on the icon in the top upper-left corner of the app window.
-Now tap the gear icon in the lower-left corner
-Tap on your email account and select “Delete Account“
-Now tap “Add Mail Account” and select “Add email account“
-Enter your full email address and tap “Continue“
-Select “IMAP” as the account type
-Tap the “Advanced Settings” button to toggle it into the on position
-Enter the following settings. You can find the correct settings here:

-In the Outlook app, tap on the icon in the top upper-left corner of the app window.
-Now tap the gear icon in the lower-left corner
-Tap on your email account and select “Delete Account“
-Now tap “Add Mail Account” and select “Add email account“
-Enter your full email address and tap “Continue“
-Select “IMAP” as the account type
-Tap the “Advanced Settings” button to toggle it into the on position
-Enter the following settings. You can find the correct settings here:

-Click on “Server Settings” underneath your email account in the left pane.
