Choosing your headset – Is a USB Headset Better Than an EHS Wireless Headset?
It depends on your work style and priorities:
- Wireless DECT (CS, Savi, Engage, Pro) is ideal for users who need to roam and answer calls away from their desk.
- Wired USB is simpler, often less expensive, and literally “plug and play.” But you’ll be tethered unless you opt for a USB-based wireless (e.g., Bluetooth with a USB dongle).
- Sound Quality is generally excellent in both scenarios, but DECT wireless can handle more distance than Bluetooth.
