1. Open the Mail application.

2. Right-click on Ctrl+click on the folder you wish to export, then select Export Mailbox…

3. Select a location where you would like to save the exported mailbox. Then select the Choose option. A .mbox file will be stored in the selected location.

You now have a copy of the selected Apple Mail mailbox.
